Description
PHOSPHOCAL is a liquid product for cattle, which supplements calcium and phosphorus deficiency.
After parturition, the ratio of the daily feed is insufficient for the high calcium and phosphorus requirements, which are highly needed during this period.
The lack of these ingredients causes milk fever (clinical or subclinical) in cattle. Milk fever is characterized by reduced calcium levels in the blood (Hypocalcemia).
It occurs following parturition, at the onset of lactation when demand for calcium for colostrum production exceeds the body’s ability to mobilize calcium.
In periods of need, PHOSPHOCAL can be used to prevent milk fever and fertility support as well as for the cows lacking appetite.
